The 3033 Telephone Interconnect was designed to be a replacement for the RTU-292 telephone interconnect.
In addition to the entire RTU-292 functionality the new 3033 Telephone Interconnect includes these new features:
- Complete interactive voice prompting system from Telephone side, including capability to simultaneously support multiple languages
- Capability to load your own customised voice prompts (eg to provide extra languages)
- Fully customisable access control including complete barring and programmable call groups (eg to restrict some users to making local calls only)
- International compliance (CE, A-Tick and FCC) for EMC, Safety and telecommunication compliance
- Supports DTMF, on-hook / off-hook caller ID, reverse polarity and fully programmable call progress tone detection to support countries worldwide
- Programmable prefix & postfix
- Password access control for both users and administrators
- Ethernet connectivity and Administration via common web-browser
