offer the AT IP1 Internet Remote Control Interface for Codan NGT HF tranceivers.
The AT IP1 Internet Remote Control Interface is a network-based interface that enables Codan NGT series
HF transceivers to be controlled remotely via LAN, Internet or WiFi connections.
On the transceiver side a AT IP1 connects in place of regular NGT handset and speaker. On
the control side the handset and speaker plugs into a second AT IP1 unit.
Information that the transceiver sends to the LCD display of the handset is relayed via the network
and displayed on the remote handset. Similarly, button presses on the remote handset are relayed
to the transceiver as if it was a locally attached handset.
Speaker and microphone audio is relayed between the handset and transceiver via the network

We are happy to announce that we are now starting distribution of the QMac MX9714 VHF-90M Tactical Manpack Radio.The MX 9714 VHF-90 Manpack is a military grade portable communication set specifically designed for tactical applications. It is designed to withstand complete immersion, vibration, drop and temperature extremes to the Mil-Std 801F specification.
Codan is delighted to announce the launch of its new Rapid deploy Block Up Converter (RBUC) platform. Purpose built for satcomon-the-move customers, the RBUC offers benefits for fixed site and offshore applications. The platform is a single enclosure product that enhances the Codan portfolio using well-proven technology in order to provide a standard platform for higher output power variants. Powered via a +48VDC source, the initial release is a Ku-band 40W product. Future releases will provide products in both Ku-band C-band.
March 2008 will be marked as the date the product will be available for shipment, as the rigorous testing and manufacturing introduction procedures have now been finalised.

February 8, 2008 Dealers and Customers Testing Tools
Dealers are encouraged to stock our range of simple to use test tools to quickly diagnose product faults. You will see a flyer included with this newsletter that provides further details on the tools available for purchase from Q-MAC.Our BDMs often provide long distance support to customers, who would quickly be able to fault diagnose if they had access to this equipment.
It is recommended that dealers have a complete set of tools available in their workshops. By having these in stock, you place yourself in a good position to help the customer locally and build a relationship that may lead to increased sales opportunities. In addition, you may find that your customers wish to purchase the tools for their own servicing. The Antenna Current Meter shown above is an example of a product that was recently upgraded to meet a customer order of 100.
January 30, 2008 Integrated HF Radio system for Armoured vehicles
In response to customer demand, QMAC developed a higher power, heavy duty variant of the HF-90M radio system for application on armoured (tracked and wheeled) fighting vehicles.
Contracts to the value of many millions Dollars have now been completed and Q-MAC is confident approaching any military vehicle project!
To re-inforce Codan's entry into the military market with reliable and affordable HF communication complying with military and in particular NATO Standardization Agreements (STANAGs), Codan today announces the NATO Stock Number for the 2110M. This ruggedised HF radio weighing 2.5 kg with 50 hours of operating time performing to MIL-STD-810F now has NSN 5820-99-602-7549.
Codan is excited by the continued partnership with NATO and the prospects of supporting mission critical communication with capable radios.
